Creating web pages using XHTML and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets).

There are many assignments that build on knowledge of XHTML and CSS. Students will create web pages, each assignment more advanced than the previous and with additional elements, such as text and graphics, multiple page web sites, tables, forms, and basic java script.

You won't need to know too much going in, but you'll know a lot walking out.

In my particular class, the final project was a group effort to redesign a library's web site.

I took this class online and it was great. When I took it we were learning FrontPage, which is now obsolete, so I hope they're teaching something more current now. Check with the instructor (usually Dr. Heinrichs) to be sure.
